The Colorado Rocky Mountains

I am fully aware that the Colorado Rockies are not in Utah. However, I wanted to see what the mountains looked like from the other side. They are quite spectacular and make for some great subject matter. I couldn't have asked for a better day of shooting.

Animus Forks is an old mining town, now a ghost town, high in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. Founded in 1880, it sits just above 11,000 feet.
